Since arriving on the field in 2003 the value of the U.S dollar has dropped over 30% that means a 30% loss of spending power. On top of that inflation has been hard at work and food prices have more than doubled. Not to mention the price of property and fuel. We are in need of monthly support. I’m not complaining, God is good and we have not yet had to return to the states on a furlough or to raise our support.
Coming up to and after Bulgaria joined the European Union on January 1, 2007 the price of property in Bulgaria skyrocketed, especially in Sofia and on the Black Sea coast. For example, very small plots of land (approx 500 sq. meters or 1/8th of an acre) on the outskirts of Sofia and not on a main road are selling for over $110,000 USD. We need to buy property in order to expand our ministry and better invest your support dollars. We have set up a fund to start raising finances for property. We would also be interested in a loan for property. We already pay rent and that money could be put towards our own land and building. Please pray with us about this need and consider what God would have you to do.
